At the site in St. Ingbert, our work centres on the development and production of proton-conductive membranes for fuel cells as well as the production of ion exchange membranes with high thermal and chemical resistance for use in electrodialysis, bipolar membrane technology, membrane electrolysis and diffusion dialysis. In addition to the fumion® polymers and fumapem® membranes for fuel cells, we supply fumasep® products for water treatment and desalination, filtration and recycling as well as fumados® chemicals for water treatment.
At the site in Vaihingen an der Enz, innovative membrane processes, under the trade mark fumatech®, are planned, designed and developed for water treatment, wastewater treatment and, in particular, for pollution control. We are also active in the important markets in the beverage industry, focussing on water treatment and the recovery of alkaline solutions. Downstream processing in biotechnology, the pharmaceutical and food industries are covered by the range of fumatech® skills while new recycling processes are made available to the surface-finishing industry.
