fumasep® - ion exchange membranes for electro-membrane processes

ion exchange membranes for electro-membrane processes
Ion exchange membranes are made at FuMA-Tech on our own production line. We use different coating techniques to produce these membranes which can be tailor-made to fulfil customer demands. Our sales office is only too willing to assist you in word and in deed. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Standard products are available in widths of 30 and 50 cm but material thickness can be adjusted between 20 and 200 m. Practically all membranes can be supplied in reinforced cloth finishings (mono-filament or multi-filament cloth made of different materials).
For handling purposes, thin-film membranes can be supplied on chemically and mechanically resistant support foil.

Monopolar ion exchange membranes

FuMA-Tech supplies cation and anion exchange membranes for all known applications while various special membranes are also available. The fumasep® FAA membrane is characterised by high alkali resistance. The fumasep® FAP membrane can be recommended for use in acidic solutions (pH<3.5) as well as in the presence of chlorine or other oxidative media.

The fumasep® FKH membrane is based on a perfluorosulfonic acid resin fumion® F and is available in various ion exchange capacities. The membrane is reinforced mechanically with a cloth, either in the form of a multi-filament glass fibre cloth or a monofilament polyether ketone cloth.
