fumion® polyelectrolytes are produced either on the basis of partially fluorinated super acids (fumion® F) or free of fluorine and based on polyarylene sulfonic acid (fumion® P) in the form of dry resins or as polymer solutions.
These high-performance materials have proven to be highly suitable in terms of their mechanical and electrochemical properties as well as long-term behaviour and reliability.
Standard fumion® types are supplied as granules or in solution. Aqueous alcoholic mixtures or dimethylacetamide are used as standard solvents, available with polymer concentrations of between 5 and 20 wt-%. Customer-engineered solutions can be made on request. In addition, FuMA-Tech offers a range of special polymers whose development focussed on good film formation properties or polymer blending techniques. Anhydrous proton transport can be produced with the new polybenzimidazoles ABPBI and PBIO which are available with higher molar mass and low polydispersity.
